My contribution — Modelling & Lab-Testing Lead

Contributes to the modelling and lab-testing work: building and automating containerized test infrastructure for AI-based sector-coupling experiments in district heating, using AI and LLMs to design and run test cases.

Overview

AI-EFFECT builds a European Testing and Experimentation Facility for AI in the energy sector, with a DTU-led node focused on multi-energy and sector coupling — coordinating electricity and district-heating systems using AI.

The work centers on a containerized lab test infrastructure for district heating, using AI and large language models to design, automate and evaluate experiments — validated in the lab, not on live utility infrastructure.

Outcomes

  • Containerized, AI/LLM-assisted test infrastructure for district-heating sector-coupling experiments
  • Reproducible lab test cases for AI-based sector coupling
