GreenLab Grid Designer
Rule-based distribution grid design and flexibility tools for an industrial park

My contribution — Main Researcher
Led the research, designed and implemented the rule-based local distribution grid design tool, and built the framework for assessing aggregated flexible loads' participation in power markets — co-developed with the companies operating on site.
Overview
Working directly with the companies operating inside GreenLab Skive, this project developed rule-based grid-design and industrial-flexibility tools for Power-to-X and industrial symbiosis.
The tools help site operators reason about grid design and the participation of aggregated flexible loads in power markets, grounded in the operational realities of a live industrial park.
Outcomes
- 2 peer-reviewed papers
- Open rule-based grid-design and flexibility tools
- Community Choice Prize, awarded by the industrial partners
