My contribution — Researcher, Developer & Deliverable Lead

Developed the benchmarking framework and reference-case implementation, built the pipeline automating optimization, simulation and KPI calculation, including KPI identification and optimization deployment for hybrid energy storage systems (HESS), and co-authored the resulting book chapter and peer-reviewed paper on reproducible benchmarking methodology.

Overview

StoRIES builds reproducible, automated benchmarking for renewable energy communities — integrating simulation, optimisation, KPI evaluation, configuration management and automated workflows into an open framework.

The work includes a reference case with real datasets and Simulink models, developed with European partners spanning research institutes across three countries.

Outcomes

  • 1 book chapter, 1 peer-reviewed paper
  • EU project deliverable published on Zenodo
  • Open-source benchmarking framework and reference case
